According to reports on Tet bonuses of many businesses today, it can be seen that this year's Tet bonuses will be higher than last year.

According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, in Hanoi, the 2016 Tet bonus is expected to be paid by many businesses, on average 1.5% higher than last year.

For the 2016 Lunar New Year of the state-owned single-member LLCs, the average bonus was VND 3,350,000/person, an increase of 1.5% compared to the previous year.

For enterprises with state-owned shares and capital, the average Lunar New Year bonus in 2016 was VND3.5 million/person, up 1.4% compared to last year. For FDI enterprises, the average Lunar New Year bonus was over VND3.7 million/person, up nearly 1% compared to last year.

According to the Hanoi Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, in 2015, the socio-economic situation in Hanoi was positive, market prices were stable, inflation was low, and social security was guaranteed.

The restructuring of the operating apparatus, cost savings, price reduction, and the conversion of some enterprises from single-member LLCs owned by the State to joint stock companies have been and are operating effectively. Many enterprises have gradually overcome difficulties, and in 2015, the average salary paid to employees increased by about 2% compared to 2014.

Meanwhile, according to information from other provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Hai Phong, Hai Duong... the average bonus this year will increase compared to last year. The highest bonus per person is also recorded as increasing. Specifically, the highest Tet bonus currently belongs to an FDI enterprise in Hai Duong with 624 million VND. Meanwhile, in Ho Chi Minh City the highest Tet bonus is 600 million VND, Da Nang is 200 million VND, Thua Thien Hue is 150 million VND, Kien Giang is 140 million VND and Hanoi is 100 million VND...

Previously, a new market survey published by JobStreet.com showed that workers in the mining, petroleum, oil and gas sectors received the highest bonuses, with 14% receiving more than 4 months' salary.
