Cua Lo town children's football team is determined to practice, compete well and achieve high results.

Since the beginning of May, every 3 days a week, rain or shine, the young players of the Cua Lo town children's football team wake up at 4:30 a.m. and go to the football field to practice in preparation for the 26th Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children's Football Tournament in 2024. The parents of the young players actively accompany, take and pick up their children to the practice field on time.

Looking forward to the 2024 season, the Center for Culture, Sports and Communications of Cua Lo town has organized the establishment of a team very early. The members of the Cua Lo town team this year are mostly young players who have been trained for a long time in the amateur talent class of Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company opened in the coastal city (training throughout the year). In addition, there are other talents discovered in sports festivals and football tournaments of primary schools and 7 wards in the town.

Aiming to achieve high results in the largest youth football tournament in Nghe An, in recent times, the coaches of the town's children's football team have worked hard to train and improve the physical strength, skills, and tactics of the young players.

Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh - Coach of the Cua Lo town children's team said: In the last week before the tournament, the team will practice 6 mornings/week and will practice more in the afternoons. The coaches will practice competition tactics for the children. In addition, we also organize for the children to get acquainted with the indoor competition conditions and play friendly matches with other teams to help them gain more competition experience.

According to Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, in previous years, Cua Lo youth and children's football teams have advanced many times in the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament. However, these teams have never won the championship. In recent seasons, the competition results have not been as expected. Therefore, in this 26th season, the children's team is determined to achieve high results.

In the training tournament between amateur gifted classes of Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company held in Dien Chau district at the end of 2023, the young players of Cua Lo town also achieved quite good results, not inferior to other teams.

Now, the youth football level between localities, regions and areas has become closer. This will make the 2024 Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children's Football Tournament more attractive. In this year's squad, most of the players from the Cua Lo town youth team were born in 2014. The players are quite even in terms of physique and skill level.
