Previously, through professional work, drug crime prevention detectives of Quy Chau District Police discovered that Ha Van Toan (born in 1993), residing in Thanh Phong 2 village, Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district, had signs of illegal drug trafficking and transportation.

Notably, Ha Van Toan did not operate alone but colluded with a female subject - also from Que Phong - to transport drugs to lowland districts for consumption. The two subjects chose the time of dusk to carry out their criminal activities to avoid detection and arrest by the police.
Having grasped the methods and tricks of this couple, the Quy Chau District Police have planned to crack the case. Accordingly, at 7:30 p.m. on July 19, when Ha Van Toan and his accomplice Vi Ngoc Anh (born in 1991), residing in Co Noong block, Kim Son town, Que Phong district, were traveling by motorbike to the Truong Banh intersection in Dan village, Tien Phong commune, Que Phong district, they were suddenly controlled and arrested by the Criminal Police Force on Crime - Economy - Drugs and the General Investigation Team of the District Police; 1 kg of crystal meth, 1 motorbike and 3 mobile phones were seized.

That same night, the Investigation Committee urgently searched Ha Van Toan's residence and seized 200 more pink synthetic drug pills weighing more than 20 grams.
At the police station, the two suspects confessed to their crimes. Currently, the District Police Investigation Agency is continuing to investigate and expand the case.
