The event “Enterprises for workers - Workers for enterprises” organized by the Vinh City Labor Federation is a special event. Because this is the first time the event has been held in the province, and also the first time the Vinh City Labor Federation has taken charge of organizing it. There were many surprises and confusions, but in the end, the unexpected success of the program left happy smiles on the faces of the participants.

The event was attended by 180 union members and workers from 4 grassroots unions under the Vinh City Labor Federation. It was organized in conjunction with the launching ceremony.Workers' Month 2022, the program included exciting performances, gift giving, and lucky draws. In contrast to that excitement, when the forum “Enterprises for workers - Workers for enterprises” officially began, the atmosphere seemed to quiet down, and time seemed to slow down.
Many straightforward questions were asked to Ms. Do Thi Bich Hao - Director of Green GMC Joint Stock Company, Mr. Tran Quang Lam - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Mr. Thai Le Cuong - Chairman of the Vinh City Labor Federation and the representative of workers - Ms. Tran Thi Hue. Not only revolving around the difficulties of enterprises, the hardships of workers, the solutions of functional agencies and organizations... The forum also mentioned the expectations, wishes, dissatisfactions... from workers and enterprises.

At this forum, many workers realized that they did not fully understand the hardships of the business and the business owners could not hide their emotions before the difficulties and shortages of the workers. Very naturally, emotions were pushed up by the sharing and "innocently" broke out, beyond the script. That was when a worker who had been with the business for 4 years stood up, affirming that he would stay with Green GMC forever, ready to share the hardships with the business. That was when Ms. Do Thi Bich Hao - Director of Green GMC Joint Stock Company held back her tears, sharing about the efforts to build a school specifically for the children of workers in the company, right near the factory. In that school, the children of workers must learn English to hold the key to future integration.
The program was expected to end early, but those emotional moments kept everyone there. Even after the program ended, some people rushed home to eat for their families, some Green Company workers still lingered, going on stage to take photos with the company leaders.
Attending until the last minute of the program, Mr. Ngoc Anh (worker of Vinh Urban Infrastructure Company) shared: “This is the first time I have participated in this event and although many contents in the dialogue with workers - businesses are not related to us, we still decided to stay. I hope that the trade union and businesses will organize more programs like this, so thatWe workers have a forum.to express, to make labor relations increasingly close".

If the success of the forum “Enterprise for workers - workers for enterprises” is the emotion, then the success of the dialogue program with workers of the Dong Nam Economic Zone Union is the recommendations and answers. The unexpected applause of the organizers has said this. That is when the representative of the authorities committed to accompany and support the workers with a specific time frame, a clear and concise statement, the concerns presented very convincingly, the boldness and frankness of the workers... To have those moments, the team of Nghe An union officials devoted a lot of effort.
THE BLUE SHIRTS BEHIND THE PROGRAM
Not this year, since last year, the Dong Nam Economic Zone Trade Union has grasped the list of recommendations and proposals from workers to the authorities.
Ms. Tran Thi Nguyet - Vice President of the Dong Nam Economic Zone Trade Union said: "To prepare for the dialogue program between workers and the Provincial People's Committee, we have surveyed and collected opinions of workers from the boarding houses very carefully. However, due to the epidemic, this dialogue program cannot be organized. Up to this point, we can confirm that we have grasped all the opinions, wishes and recommendations of the workers."

Prepare fortalk showThis year, the Dong Nam Economic Zone Trade Union organized the survey through many channels, both in the boarding houses, in the enterprises, grassroots trade unions, both directly and online. The close, intimate and trusting relationship between union officials and workers is a prerequisite for a substantive and effective survey. “Workers and laborers feel that they are the weak group and are often very shy to propose ideas and share their thoughts. Therefore, we cannot just go once to collect opinions but need to go many times, visit even when there are no programs or events, only then can we build trust and intimacy with workers, they will be open to sharing and boldly propose” - Ms. Nguyen Hoang Yen, an official of Dong Nam Economic Zone Trade Union said.
It is not difficult to see this dedication and responsibility. Most of the landlords with many workers in Bac Vinh Industrial Park and Nam Cam Industrial Park know the names, faces, and phone numbers of the union officials of Dong Nam Economic Zone. They may not know the specific work of the union officials, but they know that those blue-shirted officials always bring a sense of intimacy, always listen and share.

Similarly, when collecting suggestions from workers, the Dong Nam Economic Zone union officials also encountered many difficulties. Although they distributed ballots and sent QR codes to answer anonymous surveys, in the first days of preparation, not a single opinion was collected. "Partly because the workers were unfamiliar and shy, and partly because they were satisfied with the company's policies. Only when the grassroots union informed the workers about the groups could the workers complete the survey," explained Mr. Dang Hoai Nam - a union official of Vinh City Labor Federation.

Since the beginning of April, Nghe An Trade Unions at all levels have been actively implementing dialogue programs to prepare for the dialogue event between the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and workers taking place on May 22. Accordingly, many opinions and recommendations from workers across the province have been collected.
