Donald Trump admits for the first time the possibility of defeat
In contrast to his usual arrogance, Donald Trump admitted for the first time in an interview on August 11 that his campaign faced many challenges and could lose.
In an interview on CNBC on August 11, Trump made his most modest statement to date when he admitted that he might lose to Hillary Clinton, but he insisted that he would not give up his shocking speaking style.
Trump's move came after he strongly criticized President Obama as the founder of the Islamic State (IS) force, affirming that he would not change or reduce his criticism as the election approaches.

"What I do is just tell the truth. I'm a truth-teller. And if after 90 days I lose... that's fine. I'll go back to my good old life. But that's not what I'm looking at right now. I think we're going to win, just wait and see," Trump said.
Asked how Trump planned to reverse his current disadvantage against Clinton, Trump simply replied that he would continue with his current plans. "Either it will work or I'm going to have a great vacation."
Trump has also questioned the US electoral system in the past, leading some observers to suggest he may be preparing an explanation for a defeat.
In a meeting with evangelical leaders on August 10, Trump said "we're facing big trouble in Utah." On the same day, he also admitted that his lack of experience and accurate political judgment could be the reason why American voters turned their backs on him.
After defeating 16 opponents in the Republican primaries, Trump's campaign began to face worrying numbers when it faced Clinton head-to-head.
Recent national polls show the Democratic candidate is trailing the billionaire, while some Republicans have even announced they will not support their party's candidate.
The 2016 US presidential election will take place on November 8 and will be the 58th time the people of this country will go to the polls to choose their national leader. Mr. Trump and Mrs. Clinton will represent the Republican and Democratic parties, respectively, in the race to the White House.
