Donald Trump continues to mock overweight Miss Universe
Presidential candidate Donald Trump repeated his view that former Miss Universe Alicia Machado had "gained too much weight", despite being criticized for calling her a "pig".

In the program ""Fox and Friends" yesterday, the American billionaire calledThe former Miss Universe was "the worst we've ever seen, absolutely the worst."
"She's a winner and she's gained a lot of weight, and that's a problem," NBC quoted Mr. Trump as saying. "Not only that, but her attitude. We have a problem with her."
The Republican candidate also sarcastically said that his opponent Hillary Clinton's campaign "found this girl and talked about her like she was Mother Teresa."
The controversy surrounding Machado's hatg after Mrs. Clinton mentioned her in the live debate with Mr. Trump on September 26 to criticize her opponent's frequent use of offensive words toward women.
Mr. Trump denied that he ever said such a thing and that he did not deserve to be attacked.
Machado won the Miss Universe pageant, which Trump co-produced, in 1996 at the age of 19. However, Trump later pressured her to lose weight, even taking her to the gym with a media group.
Machado saidTrump has publicly called her "an eating machine" on television and has also laughed at her Venezuelan accent.
She was moved when Mrs. Clinton mentioned her in the debate andannounced that he will support the Democratic candidate in the presidential election next November, after recently becoming a US citizen.

“He cannot be president of the United States,” she said in an interview with the Guardian. Machado hopes her story will inspire people to vote against Mr Trump.
"I never thought and never imagined 20 years later that I would be in this position, watching this man do stupid things and say stupid things," she said. "I'm no longer a beauty queen, I'm no longer a Miss Universe. I'm a worker, I'm a mother. If my story can help people open their eyes in this election, that's what I'm trying to do."
