Mong people in Ky Son celebrate great unity
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 12, Muong Long 1 village, Muong Long commune, Ky Son district solemnly organized the 2018 National Great Unity Day. Attending were: Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nguyen - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Vi Hoe - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ky Son district.
Muong Long 1 Village is one of the villages located close to the commune center, with 138 households, with 687 people, mostly Mong ethnic people.
In recent years, the village has achieved many encouraging results: the total average income per capita is estimated at 12 million VND/person/year; the total livestock herd is from 587 to 600 heads; the elephant grass area is from 80 to 100 hectares; the internal traffic is concreted, facilitating the circulation and production of the people.

Implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", people have gradually applied science and technology, introduced high-economic efficiency plant and animal varieties into mass production such as the model of fattening cattle into commodities, the model of improving the quality of Tam Hoa plum trees, the model of growing bo bo as commodities, farms raising black pigs, black chickens... creating stable income for people.

Promoting the spirit of solidarity to help each other develop the economy and build a cultural life, up to now, Muong Luong village has over 95% of households achieving the title of "Cultural Family", for many consecutive years Muong Long village has achieved the title of typical cultural village of Ky Son highland district.

To encourage and motivate people to continue promoting the achieved results, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded 10 gifts, each worth 500 thousand VND, to 10 typical cultural households, and a cash gift worth 3 million VND to the Management Board of Muong Long 1 village; in addition, the People's Committee of Ky Son district also awarded 5 gifts and certificates of merit to 5 families that have achieved the cultural title for 3 consecutive years in the village.
