(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 86th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's traditional day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2016), on the morning of November 15, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc attended and shared the joy of "National Great Unity Day in Residential Areas" at Hamlet 1, Hung My Commune, Hung Nguyen District.

Also attending were comrade Hoang Van Phi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee; representative of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Hamlet 1, Hung My commune has 158 households. Implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", cadres and people in the hamlet have achieved many comprehensive results in all areas of social life.

People's material and spiritual life has improved. The rate of well-off and rich households accounts for 54.43%; the rate of poor households has decreased to 6.3%.

The mass movements to protect national security, build residential areas free of crime and social evils; Green Sunday, residential areas free of waste; "Residential areas say no to dirty food"... have received positive responses from the majority of people.

Charity and humanitarian work, education and talent promotion, and care for children and the elderly have been promoted. Thanks to that, the relationship within the community has become increasingly united and close; the village and neighborhood ties have been tightened. The quality of building cultural standards in families has been increasingly improved. The rate of cultural families has reached 90%.

The 2016 Great Unity Day is an opportunity for cadres and people of Hamlet 1 (Hung My) to continue promoting emulation movements, especially the campaign "All people build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; "Residential areas say no to dirty food"; build green - clean - beautiful residential areas and comprehensive development, free of social evils.

Recognizing the efforts and results achieved by the cadres and people of Hamlet 1, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong hopes that the cadres and people of Hamlet 1 will continue to promote the achieved results and focus on accelerating the implementation of 19 new rural criteria.

Every citizen and every family needs to be proactive and join hands to protect the environment, fight dirty food, ensure health for the family, for the future of our children; strictly follow the provisions of the law, not violate social evils, traffic safety; take care of policy families, single-parent families, and families in difficulty.
