Nghe An compatriots in Taiwan donate to help people in need in their hometown
(Baonghean.vn) - On May 20, Nghe An compatriots in Taiwan simultaneously launched a campaign to raise donations to help the poor and those suffering from serious illnesses in their hometown.
Unified through social networks, early in the morning of May 20, Nghe An compatriots from Nghe An Charity Association in all 3 regions in Taiwan: Taipei, Taichung, Tainan simultaneously mobilized and raised donations to support their hometown.
This time, 6 cases were supported, including 5 families whose relatives had accidents or serious illnesses in Quynh Luu, Nghi Loc, Nghia Dan, Thanh Chuong, Do Luong and 1 family in Hung Nguyen whose relative suddenly died in Taiwan...

Because our fellow Nghe An compatriots in Taiwan are mainly laborers, they always choose Sundays for charity work and donate mainly at major train stations, bus stations, parks, restaurants, etc.
By the evening of May 20, the Association had raised 92,940 NTD (equivalent to 65 million VND). This amount will be transferred to the hometowns of the 6 families mentioned above.
