Nghe An compatriots abroad donate to support people in flooded areas in Central Vietnam

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to share the difficulties with people in the Central provinces affected by the historic flood, Nghe An compatriots living, studying and working in countries around the world have joined hands to donate to the beloved Central region.

On this occasion, together with people in the country, overseas Vietnamese, including Nghe An compatriots, have carried out charity activities and mobilized donations to help people in flooded provinces in the country.central region.

In Taiwan, before the floods in the Central region, Nghe An compatriots quickly wrote a letter calling for "Towards the Central region". On the morning of October 24, the AssociationNghe An fellow countrymenmobilized brothers and sisters to take to the streets and donate at major stations such as TaoYuan, Taichung, and Tainan to raise funds to help people in the Central region.

After 2 days, volunteer groups of Nghe An Association in all regions of Taiwan have raised more than 300,000 NTD, equivalent to more than 250 million VND, of which the Taipei area raised nearly 180,000 NTD.

In addition, some other groups of fellow countrymen also spontaneously organized donations to support people in the Central region. Mr. Tran Van Thanh (29 years old), from Nam Dan district, shared: "Before the flood disaster in the Central region, in a foreign land, fellow countrymen participated in charity activities to express their feelings and share some of the difficulties with people in the flooded areas."

It is known that after summarizing the donation activities, Nghe An Association will survey the Central provinces recently affected by floods and give gifts to help some localities and some families in difficult circumstances.

In Korea, responding to the call for the Vietnamese community in Hwaseong city to turn to the beloved Central region, Nghe An compatriots living, studying and working here have actively participated in contributing material and supporting community funds, especially in the Baran market area.

October 25,teamNghe An compatriots Korea FC also participated in the "four heroes" football tournament to raise funds for charity to help people in the Central region. The activities raised 5,300,000 Won, equivalent to 106 million VND, to help people in flooded areas.

In Ukraine, the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic is a very urgent and important issue, because the number of patients in the community has increased and the infection rate is dizzying. However, with the heart towards the flood-affected compatriots in the country, the Vietnamese community and Nghe An compatriots here have launched a donation program, to join hands with the whole country to share the difficulties with the people of the Central region.

In the Russian Federation, the Nghe An Association and the Community Support volunteer group launched a mutual love movement towards the beloved Central region. This charity program is divided into 2 phases, first to support people in flood-hit areas to overcome difficulties and shortages, then to survey and support sources of seeds and animals; coordinate with local authorities and philanthropists to rebuild houses for families swept away by floods and landslides, in order to restore the economy and stabilize people's lives.

Originating from the tradition of solidarity and humanity of the nation "When one horse is sick, the whole stable will stop eating", arousing the goodwill in every Vietnamese person, Nghe An people far from home, feelings towards the Central region with noble gestures.

Not only in Taiwan, Korea, Ukraine, Russia but also in other countries and territories around the world, Nghe An compatriots are also launching a donation movement, joining hands to help flood victims in the Central region. These activities have practical significance in sharing, encouraging, and adding motivation for people in flood-affected areas to overcome difficulties and rise up in natural disasters and calamities.
