Nghe An Association in Hanoi visited and congratulated former senior leaders of Nghe An on the occasion of the 80th National Day.
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), on the afternoon of August 30, the leaders of the Nghe An Association in Hanoi, led by Dr. Hoang Xuan Luong - Executive Vice President of the Association, visited and congratulated comrades Nguyen Quoc Thuoc and Nguyen Manh Cam - outstanding sons of Nghe An, former senior leaders of the Party and State.
At his home, the delegation visited and congratulated Lieutenant General, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Nguyen Quoc Thuoc - former member of the Party Central Committee, former Commander of Military Region 4, former Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Association in Hanoi.

On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Quoc Thuoc was awarded the 80-year Party membership badge - a noble award, recognizing 8 decades of loyalty, attachment, and lifelong dedication to the revolutionary cause.
This is a great pride not only for his family and himself but also for his hometown Nghe An and the entire Association of Fellow Countrymen in Hanoi.

The delegation expressed their respect and pride for comrade Nguyen Quoc Thuoc - a loyal revolutionary soldier and talented general of the Vietnam People's Army. At the same time, they wished him good health and longevity and hoped that he would continue to follow and encourage the next generations, especially the young generation, to follow his example and strive to contribute more to the homeland and country.
On the same day, the delegation visited comrade Nguyen Manh Cam - former member of the Politburo, former Deputy Prime Minister, former Chairman of the Nghe An Association in Hanoi.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Cam is a leader with many important contributions in the field of foreign affairs and national development. He is also a person who always cares about, is attached to, and builds the Nghe An Association in Hanoi to become stronger and stronger.
Although he is now old and in poor health, he still shows much affection and interest in the activities of the Nghe An Association in Hanoi, considering it a place to gather the affection and solidarity of Nghe An people far from home.
