Mr. Phung Van Dung - tourist from Vinh Phuc province

“I am a son of Vinh Phuc, today I have the opportunity to make a pilgrimage to President Ho Chi Minh’s hometown. This is the third time I have visited Uncle Ho’s hometown, and I still feel moved and emotional. It must be said that Kim Lien Relic Site has many beautiful and clean landscapes. Entering this space, everyone can feel the memories associated with Uncle Ho’s childhood. This is where Uncle Ho was born and lived his childhood, this countryside has imprinted his footsteps.

Returning to this place, I was truly happy to stand in front of Uncle Ho's family's thatched house, witnessing simple, familiar objects such as the bed, bamboo bed, hammock, table, chair, bowl, plate and loom that were once associated with Uncle Ho's family members. Happy to be back to the place where a great man, a world cultural celebrity, and the great leader of the Vietnamese people was born.

Regarding the Kim Lien Relic Site, we would like to thank Nghe An province for preserving, embellishing and promoting the cultural heritage of President Ho Chi Minh. Returning to our hometown, we will continue to propagate to our children and grandchildren to look towards Uncle Ho's homeland and forever remember his merits."

Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong - preschool teacher, Vinh city (Nghe An)

“On the occasion of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday, our school organized a tour for students to experience visiting Uncle Ho’s hometown. For several days, the children were excited and looking forward to the departure day, because they would witness Uncle Ho’s family house with their own eyes and see the mementos associated with Uncle Ho’s childhood. When they arrived here, the children were very happy and excited, each child seemed delighted because their dream had come true.

As for me, since I was a child, I have visited Uncle Ho's hometown many times, sometimes 2-3 times a year. But every time I step foot in the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, I always feel moved and nostalgic. Because witnessing the simple thatched house, the beloved and familiar objects of Uncle Ho's family being preserved intact, the nostalgia and admiration well up again, unable to contain my emotions.

Every time I visit Uncle Ho's hometown, I gain more experience and knowledge to serve my professional work. Stories about Uncle Ho will become more vivid and attractive to attract children, contributing to nurturing their souls, emotions and love for beloved President Ho Chi Minh. Therefore, when I have the opportunity, I often visit Uncle Ho's hometown with my relatives, colleagues and friends."

Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh - tourist from Binh Duong province

“This is the first time I have traveled thousands of kilometers from Binh Duong to visit Uncle Ho’s hometown. Seeing the countryside scenery, where Uncle Ho was born and raised, I am truly happy and moved. I am happy because I have set foot on the land of Nghe An, a land of talented people, the birthplace of many heroes and heroes who sacrificed themselves and fought for national independence, typically President Ho Chi Minh. I am moved because the space and artifacts are still preserved intact, reminding me of Uncle Ho’s childhood years.

Coming here, I am truly honored and proud, because in Binh Duong and the far South, not everyone has the opportunity to visit Uncle Ho's hometown. Coming here, I am even more deeply grateful to Uncle Ho as well as the revolutionary predecessors who found a way to liberate the country from slavery, fought for the cause of national liberation, so that today we can live in peace and independence.

After this pilgrimage, when I return to my hometown, I will tell my relatives, friends and colleagues about the landscape and simple objects preserved at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site. And I will encourage and advise everyone, if possible, to arrange time to visit Uncle Ho's hometown at least once to feel the many good things in life, to be moved by the simple thatched roof...".

"When I had the opportunity to visit Vietnam, I immediately arranged my work to go to Nghe An, to Nam Dan to visit the Kim Lien Relic Site. On the way, I was extremely surprised by the wide roads, the seemingly endless lines of cars; the rice fields full of flowers and seeds; the rows of spacious houses on both sides of the road; the green, prosperous countryside.

The scenery here is very beautiful, signaling the season of May because I see flowers blooming. The architecture of President Ho Chi Minh's house is still very well preserved. Coming to President Ho Chi Minh's hometown, I have the opportunity to learn more about the history and culture of the Vietnamese people. This is a beautiful, impressive and warm place."
