Nghe An tourism - fertile land for investors
(Baonghean) - Nghe An's emerging investment projects such as Muong Thanh Dien Lam, Nghia Dan sunflower field, Bai Lu... show that Nghe An is awakening to its tourism potential.

Potential of the West
Nghe An has always been considered a locality with many advantages for tourism development with a rich and diverse system of landscapes, landscapes and cultural - historical relics with important highlights: Kim Lien relic site (Nam Dan), Vinh city, Cua Lo town... and especially recently has been interested in suggesting the tourism potential of the West.
Western Nghe An is a series of interesting discoveries for tourists such as Pu Mat National Park located in 3 districts of Anh Son, Con Cuong and Tuong Duong with an area of 91,113 hectares, is the largest natural forest in the North, belonging to the World Biosphere Reserve. Pu Mat has Giang River cruise, Pha Lai ferry, Khe Kem waterfall which is calling for investment.

Mr. Vi Van Son - Chairman of Con Cuong District People's Committee said: Con Cuong identifies tourism as a strength of the district and is calling for attracting large investors to renovate and invest in infrastructure for tourist attractions such as Khe Kem waterfall, Pha Lai dam...
The West also has Pu Hoat Nature Reserve with an area of 27,668 hectares. According to preliminary statistics, the reserve currently has more than 6,000 hectares of primeval forest, 572 species of plants, including 156 precious medicinal plants, more than 40 species of fruit trees, more than 300 species of timber trees, 23 species of resin and oil trees such as agarwood, boi loi, cinnamon and hundreds of precious medicinal plants, wicker plants, dozens of orchid families. Pu Huong Nature Reserve has an area of 49,860 hectares. Through investigation and survey, 291 species of animals have been discovered, including 63 species of mammals, 176 species of birds, 35 species of reptiles, and 17 species of amphibians; of which 45 species are listed in the Vietnam Red Book. Tham Om Cave in Chau Thuan Commune (Quy Chau) is a large cave with many diverse stalactites with different shapes.
In the cave, archaeologists have discovered fossils and traces of ancient Vietnamese people's residence. This place attracts many tourists every year. Bua Cave in Chau Tien Commune (Quy Chau) is a scenic spot associated with many historical legends, customs, and cultural activities of the Thai ethnic community. In 1937, King Bao Dai chose this place to hold a beauty contest. Every year, the Bua Cave Festival is held with many activities that attract many tourists to visit.
Effective projects
In recent times, with the desire to awaken the tourism potential to bring foreign currency, intelligence, and jobs to Nghe An, the province has taken effective steps such as organizing large-scale tourism seminars, calling for investment, planning tours, tourist routes, connecting tourist destinations... Nghe An has attracted a number of large-scale and effective tourism projects. These are Bai Lu resort (Nghi Yen, Nghi Loc), Dien Thanh beach tourism area, Muong Thanh - Dien Chau area, especially preparing to open the million-dollar Vinpearl Cua Hoi tourist area of Vingroup.
All of these projects are promising great changes in the localities where investors trust and stop. After phase 1 of Vinpearl Cua Hoi with a complex of resort villas, swimming pools, luxury hotels... phase 2 is expected to invest in a cable car to Ngu Island and continue to exploit the tourist complex on Ngu Island. Meanwhile, Muong Thanh Dien Lam is currently a very attractive destination for tourists nationwide because it is the largest zoo in Southeast Asia.
In particular, over the past 2 years, Nghe An has succeeded in attracting Muong Thanh Group to invest in Nghe An 10 hotels from 3 to 5 stars, 10 quite perfect accommodation facilities, creating an impression attracting the attention of tourists to Nghe An, Uncle Ho's hometown.

Enhance connectivity
The 2016 North-South Central region tourism conference sponsored by BIDV opened up new directions for the "smokeless industry" in Nghe An.
At the workshop, Mr. Tran Bac Ha - former Chairman of BIDV Board of Directors was also the one who initiated the idea of organizing the workshop to propose a number of solutions to link tourism development in the North - South Central region in the period of 2016 - 2020 such as: Renewing thinking, awareness and action, associated with expanding regional tourism space; promoting tourism development links between localities in the region; strengthening international tourism connections and other regions in the country; focusing on linking investment in transport infrastructure and human resource training;...
Reality also shows that expanding tourism space and connection is inevitable because the trend of going on tours and long-term routes is growing and experiencing, exploring, relaxing, worshiping... are constantly the needs of many tourists. Nghe An Department of Tourism has also advised the Provincial People's Committee on this issue.
Regarding investment orientations in the tourism sector, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Director of the Center for Investment Promotion and Support of Nghe An province affirmed: In general investment attraction, the province is trying to fill industrial parks such as VSIP, Hemaraj... to create favorable conditions for secondary investors. Nghe An also promotes investment attraction in the West, MDF factories, fruit and vegetable processing factories of investors from Europe such as the Netherlands, Poland... in which priority is given to high-tech agriculture.
Regarding tourism, on April 29, a number of major projects such as Vingroup will be inaugurated, and investors will contribute to the completion of the coastal city of Cua Lo. In addition, Nghe An is taking advantage of the opportunity to introduce Kim Lien Tourist Area (Nam Dan), Che Island - Cau Cau Tourist Area (Thanh Chuong), and the Western Eco-tourism Area to investors. Nghe An is also asking the Central Government to approve major events held in Nghe An to promote tourism for the province./.
