Bring domestic air transport activities back to normal
(Baonghean.vn) - The Ministry of Transport has just issued a document allowing Vietnamese airlines to operate flights with frequencies according to market demand.
On March 24, 2022, the Ministry of Transport issued Decision 372/QD-BGTVT providing temporary guidance on organizing regular domestic passenger flights to ensure safe, flexible adaptation and effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
According to this Decision, the companiesVietnam Airlinesbe allowed to operate flights with frequencies according to market demand, airline capacity and in accordance with airport infrastructure and flight operations infrastructure.

In addition, airlines, flight crews and passengers must strictly comply with regulations on disease prevention and control, including following the "5K" message and making medical declarations as required.
Implementing the Decision of the Ministry of Transport, on March 30, 2022, Nghe An Department of Transport also sent a document to representatives of the Northern Airport Authority in Vinh; Vinh International Airport and representatives of airlines for implementation.
According to our records, after the new regulations removed barriers to restore air passenger transport activities, atVinh AirportAirlines are also stepping up domestic flights to meet passenger demand. However, flight frequency is still lower than before the outbreak.

Mr. Vo Huy Thanh - Deputy Director of Vinh International Airport said: Compared to the time before the outbreak, this time the passenger traffic is only at an average level. Currently, there are 4 airlines operating at Vinh Airport, namely Vietnam Airlines, Bamboo, Vietjet, Jetstar, the lowest day has 18 flights arriving and departing, the highest is 24 flights.
We also hope that in the near future, when tourism reopens along with a series of cultural and economic exchange activities in the new normal state, people's travel needs increase, then the frequency of flights will increase.
