Using pliers to break the lock, stealing 100kg of copper from the electricity headquarters

On July 27, Tan Ky District Police issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and detain 3 subjects including: Hoang Nghia Thang (born in 1986, residing in Hung Long Commune, Hung Nguyen), Nguyen Van Trung (born in 1987) and Le Dinh Cuong (born in 1989), both residing in Ky Tan Commune, Tan Ky District) for the act of "Theft of property".
Earlier, on the morning of June 19, Tan Ky District Police received a notice from Tan Ky Power Company stating that at around 7:30 a.m. the same day, when Tan Ky Power Company's material inspector opened the unit's storage facility, he discovered that the door had been broken into. Inside, about 100 kg of copper worth 40 million VND had been stolen.

Upon receiving the report, the Tan Ky District Police Investigation Agency held a meeting and established Project 618 T. Realizing that the case had just been discovered, the criminals had not gone far. To be able to sell the stolen electric wires, there must have been two or more thieves.
After many hours of verification, at 5:00 p.m. the same day, the Investigation Team arrested Hoang Nghia Thang, Nguyen Van Trung and Le Dinh Cuong while they were on their way to sell the stolen copper. At the scene, the investigation agency only recovered 50 kg of copper (worth about 20 million VND). Half of the assets had been sold by the group.
At the investigation agency, the three subjects admitted to the crime and said that they had been following the thief for many days. At dawn, the three subjects used pliers and electrical tape to cut the cable, took the copper core, and then sold it to scrap dealers.

Nguyen Van Trung and Le Dinh Cuong are serious drug addicts, with Trung having two previous convictions for theft and illegal drug trafficking. Every time they were addicted, they would discuss stealing electric wires to sell for money to spend and buy drugs.
