Using a machete to slash 3 people in a family, causing casualties and then turning himself in

Hearing the unusual noise, Mr. Lan's wife, Mrs. Nguyen Thi My Linh (born in 1966), and her son, Cao Hong Son (born in 2004), ran out of the house and shouted for help from the neighbors, but unexpectedly, Phung calmly and brutally attacked them.
This man continued to use a machete to slash Mrs. Linh and Son, causing serious injuries.
Immediately after committing the serious crime, the perpetrator Nguyen Van Phung brought the weapon to Tan Son town police station to confess.

According to the authorities, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Linh suffered multiple slash wounds on her left cheek, right arm and head, causing a fractured skull. Meanwhile, Cao Hong Son suffered slashes on his right arm, left shoulder, left hip and left thigh. Both victims were taken to Ninh Son District Medical Center and then transferred to Ninh Thuan Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment and injury treatment.

On the same morning, the Ninh Son District Police Department issued an emergency arrest warrant and decided to temporarily detain Nguyen Van Phung for investigation, transferring the case file and the suspect to the Ninh Thuan Provincial Police Department for handling according to their authority./.
