On May 25, Hung Yen Provincial Police announced that they had just dismantled a large-scale online gambling ring, arresting 14 people involved to investigate their behavior.gambling organization, online gambling.
According to the investigation agency, the leader of the gambling ring is Le Quang Vinh (31 years old, living in Tan Sang apartment building, Hung Yen city).The Criminal Police Department (Hung Yen Provincial Police) coordinated with local police to discover 10 gambling dens in Khoai Chau and Tien Lu districts.
At these locations, police arrested 14 people along with 400 million VND in cash, two cars, three computers, two laptops, a money counter, many swords, 13 cell phones and more than 1,000 pages of documents related to football betting...
The main method of this gambling ring is to use the Internet to organize lottery and football betting on domestic and international tournaments. Through investigation, the total amount of money transacted on the documents of Le Quang Vinh and the arrested people is over 120 billion VND.
Recently, the police of various provinces have continuously dismantled large-scale gambling rings. Previously, on May 14, the Bac Ninh Provincial PoliceSimultaneously searched 6 game shops and caught 18 people gambling online.Investigators estimate that the total amount of online gambling transactions of the group is over 152 billion VND.
