(Baonghean.vn) - During the process of building a house, due to a broken winch, a construction worker fell into the yard and died. The tragic incident occurred in Trung Phuc Cuong commune, Nam Dan district.
According to local residents, on the morning of June 28, Mr. Nguyen Van H. (63 years old), residing in Hamlet 10, Khanh Son Commune (Nam Dan), and a group of workers were building a house in Trung Chinh Hamlet, Trung Phuc Cuong Commune.
During the work, at 8:00 a.m., when the workers were lifting the steel to prepare for pouring concrete on the first floor, the winch rope broke. At that time, Mr. H. was standing on the floor and fell to the ground.
People at the scene quickly took him to the hospital for emergency treatment. However, due to severe injuries, Mr. H. did not survive.
According to witnesses, at that time Mr. H. was standing on a floor about 4 meters high. When the winch rope broke, he fell and hit his head on the ground.
This morning, June 29, family, relatives and people in hamlet 10, Khanh Son commune held a funeral for Mr. H. according to local customs.
