Facebook announced a feature that allows users to chat with multiple accounts via the Messenger application. Currently, this social network only revealed the version for the Android operating system platform.
In the settings of the new application, there is an additional section to manage different accounts, users can log in to more accounts at the same time. Each account will be protected by a simple password for easy switching back and forth. When using this account, notifications in other accounts will not be opened.
Facebook says the new feature is ideal for parents who want to share or monitor their children at home. Many users also say they want to use two Facebook accounts, just like using two different phone numbers.
Messenger version 3.9 is available for download on Android devices. However, some users with devices running Android 6.0 said that the application has been updated but the add account option has not appeared.
