Facebook is emerging as a candidate to broadcast the Premier League in Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.

Facebook is in the process of negotiating the rights and will compete with Qatar-based BeIN Sports, which paid about $250 million for a three-year deal to broadcast all 380 games per season, Bloomberg reported.
