FIFA invites Vietnamese referees to officiate at Futsal World Cup
'King of Black Shirts' Truong Quoc Dung is the only referee in Vietnam to be included in FIFA's list of referees for the tournament.

According to the announcement from VFF, referee Truong Quoc Dung has just been honored to be selected by FIFA to be on the list of referees who will officiate at the 2016 Futsal World Cup finals. Truong Quoc Dung, born in 1982, is considered the best futsal referee in Vietnam at present.
The young "black shirt king" has been recognized as a FIFA-level futsal referee since 2009. He is the only Vietnamese referee to have participated in all major regional and continental futsal tournaments. Being able to participate in the 2016 Futsal World Cup finals is a great honor not only for referee Quoc Dung personally but also for Vietnamese football. This is the recognition of the world's most powerful football agency for the development and success of Vietnamese futsal.
“For me, being able to referee at the futsal world finals is an honor for me personally and for Vietnamese futsal referees in general. Facing world-class teams will give me more motivation to overcome the challenge,” referee Truong Quoc Dung shared.
According to the draw results, in the final round, the Vietnamese team is in Group C with Paraguay, Italy and Guatemala. The tournament will take place from September 10 to October 1 in Colombia. To have the best preparation for this playground, coach Bruno Garcia and his team will start to gather again from July 21. The Vietnamese futsal team will have two training trips in Brazil and Peru before going to Colombia to participate in the final round of the Futsal World Cup 2016.
