Motorbike taxi driver stole backpack with many belongings from foreign tourist
Motorbike taxi driver Nguyen Van Tuoi, 33 years old, while stopping his vehicle to let a French tourist go into a store to buy something, suddenly ran away with a backpack containing many of the victim's belongings.
On June 1, Tuoi was detained by the Criminal Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police to investigate his behavior.Theft of property.

Before that, Tuoi, wearing a GrabBike shirt, invited a 56-year-old French man to ride from Thao Dien ward, Thu Duc city, to district 1. When getting on the bike, the tourist left his backpack containing a laptop, cell phone, money and some personal documents in front of Tuoi's bike.
When he arrived in front of a convenience store on Le Thanh Ton Street, District 1, the man told Tuoi to stop so he could go in and buy something. However, as soon as he stepped inside, Tuoi sped away with the backpack on the bike.
The Criminal Police Department extracted many security cameras from the streets and discovered Tuoi in District 7, so they arrested him with the evidence.
