Nearly 20,000 billion VND committed to invest in Nghe An at investment promotion conference

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 10, the Provincial Party Standing Committee listened to and gave opinions on the report on preparations for the meeting with investors in the Spring of Dinh Dau 2017. Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired the meeting.

Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and a number of related sectors.

This conference is expected to have 500 delegates, including leaders of the Party and State, some central ministries, departments and branches; large corporations and groups with potential at home and abroad that have invested and are exploring investment opportunities in Nghe An; businesses from Japan, Korea, Thailand; investors from the Australian Business Association in Vietnam... and leaders of some localities in the country.

In preparation for the meeting with investors, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Investment Promotion and Support Center contacted and connected information to update organizations and potential domestic and foreign investors.

Through review, up to now, 23 projects inside and outside economic zones and industrial parks have been synthesized, of which 10 projects have signed investment registration certificates with a total capital of VND 7,861 billion; 13 projects have signed investment agreements with a total capital of VND 11,883 billion and 1 investment cooperation agreement.

Presenting at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa said that the Provincial People's Committee and the Investment Promotion and Support Center will continue to contact investors, update investment projects and report before the conference takes place.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong requested that the program's organizing committee carefully prepare the content, assign specific tasks in each stage, and welcome delegates so that the conference can be successfully organized.

Also this afternoon, the Provincial Party Standing Committee listened to and gave opinions on the content and working program of the Government leaders in Nghe An.

In order for the Conference to meet investors in the Spring of Dinh Dau and the working program of the Government leaders in the province to be successful, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested that the Provincial People's Committee assign the Organizing Committee to carefully review each issue, prepare the contents carefully; organize a thoughtful reception and carefully prepare the working contents with the delegations with accompanying working programs.

The Provincial Party Secretary also requested to carry out well the reportage broadcast at the Dinh Dau Spring Investor Meeting in the direction of introducing Nghe An's potential and advantages, clarifying the specific areas in which the province calls for investment. "The Provincial Party Standing Committee will review the overall organization before the conference", Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh emphasized.

Along with that, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the Organizing Committee of the Spring Dinh Dau Investor Meeting must coordinate well with media agencies to promote the conference to bring about better effects.
