A poll released by Public Policy Polling on May 16 found that 48% of respondents said they supported impeaching Mr. Trump, while only 41% opposed it.
Additionally, 45% believe that Mr. Trump's presidential term will not last long, while 43% believe that Mr. Trump will serve a full four-year term.
The results of the poll were released after a series of controversies, including President Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey last week and reports that Trump disclosed top secret information to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a meeting in the Oval Office on May 10.
According to the Gallup Research Institute, the support rate for Mr. Donald Trump is at the lowest level compared to any US President since this survey began in 1953./.
