Combining practice with theory in political teaching

(Baonghean.vn) - This is the content that Professor, Doctor Nguyen Xuan Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics emphasized at the working session with Nghe An Provincial Political School on the afternoon of June 14.

Attending the working session on Nghe An province side were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Nguyen Thanh Hien - Principal of the Provincial Political School; leaders of a number of departments, branches and the Provincial Political School.

In the 2015-2016 school year, Nghe An Provincial Political School advised the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to review and issue Project No. 12 on "Building and developing Nghe An Political School in the period of 2015-2020, vision to 2030". At the same time, the school performed well in training and fostering cadres with 63 classes, 4,705 students, exceeding the training target and plan.

The highlight is that for the first time in the 2010-2015 term, the school opened new classes to train Party Committee secretaries, update knowledge for group 4, and train mass mobilization cadres.

Scientific research work is of interest with highly appreciated topics such as: "Research on some solutions to innovate organization and operation to improve the effectiveness of State management of commune-level government in Nghe An province in the period 2013-2015" achieving excellent results...

The school also focuses on building an organizational structure to ensure quantity and quality; improving all aspects of the staff, including improving the professional capacity of the teaching staff...

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the school's achievements in training cadres for the province; at the same time, requested the school to continue taking care of its staff and lecturers; linking teaching with practice to contribute to improving training quality.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: The school must summarize the training and fostering practices to draw lessons to build the program content and scientific training methods; proactively form a list of scientific research topics to have practical topics for the province; gradually improve the school's facilities and equipment... Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son also suggested that the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics continue to care for and help the school.

Professor, Doctor Nguyen Xuan Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics highly appreciated the results achieved by the school in training, improving the quality of staff, lecturers, facilities, and student management.

The Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics also suggested that the school continue to innovate its training work, pay attention to researching topics to have better and more updated lectures. In particular, the school's teaching staff must return to the base, participate in mass mobilization, propaganda, organization work... to grasp the reality, serve the professional work well.

Professor, Doctor Nguyen Xuan Thang suggested that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the school in its activities, including successfully organizing the Competition for excellent lecturers of provincial political schools and training schools of ministries and branches in 2017 held at the school.
