(Baonghean.vn) -The project to preserve and restore Truong Bon Historical Site (My Son, Do Luong) was approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in Decision 1591/QD.UBND-CNXD dated April 19, 2010 with Nghe An Department of Transport as the investor.
The total investment according to the initial decision was 175.4 billion VND. By October 2013, the People's Committee of Nghe An province decided to adjust the total amount to 366 billion VND; mobilizing from 3 sources of capital: budget capital, capital contributed by organizations, individuals and other legal capital sources.
The relic site has 3 main areas: the Victory Monument area, the central area and the area for preserving and renovating the houses of Hamlet 9 - where former Youth Volunteers stayed to recreate the activities and life during the resistance war years. Up to now, the central area of 19.98 hectares has basically completed the construction items: Memorial area, regulating lake, memorial, exhibition house, square yard, parking lot,...
Currently, the Department of Transport is focusing on directing units to speed up construction progress and complete items to inaugurate the project on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the industry's founding (August 7, 2015).
