Coffee price today September 16, 2025: Domestic price decreased, world price increased sharply
Coffee prices today, September 16, are at 119,600 - 120,000 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 200 - 500 VND/kg. Farmers with good financial potential are not in a hurry to sell coffee.
Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices today, September 15, 2025, in the Central Highlands region slightly decreased compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 119,600 - 120,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the old Dak Nong region are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 120,000 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee price in Dak Lak province is 120,000 VND/kg, down 200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by VND400/kg compared to yesterday and were traded at VND119,800/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices decreased by VND200/kg compared to yesterday and are at VND119,600/kg.

Some purchasing agents in the Central Highlands said that domestic coffee prices are higher than world prices, making it difficult to match orders. Currently, they mainly buy small quantities to supply domestic roasters.
After two successful harvests, many farmers with good financial potential have redeemed their land use certificates from the bank and are in no hurry to sell their coffee. They are holding onto their products, waiting for higher prices or needing capital for new ventures.
An agent added that in the past, farmers often received deposits to sell coffee early and agents also signed delivery contracts in advance, but now this practice is almost gone because prices fluctuate unpredictably.
World coffee prices today
At the close of trading on September 15, on the London Stock Exchange, the price of the online Robusta coffee futures contract for September 2025 delivery increased to 4,817 USD/ton, up 1.69% (80 USD/ton) compared to the previous trading session. The November 2025 contract also increased 4.24% (195 USD/ton) to 4,796 USD/ton.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee futures for September 2025 delivery also increased sharply by 3.53% (14.5 US cents/pound) compared to the previous session, reaching 425.15 US cents/pound. The contract for December 2025 delivery increased by 5.83% (23.15 US cents/pound), reaching 420 US cents/pound.
