Domestic coffee prices today

Domestic coffee prices today, September 29, 2025, in the Central Highlands region remained unchanged compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 110,800 - 111,500 VND/kg.

Accordingly, traders in the old Dak Nong region are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 111,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Similarly, coffee price in Dak Lak province is 111,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Coffee prices in Gia Lai province remained unchanged from yesterday and were traded at VND111,200/kg.

In Lam Dong province, coffee prices remained unchanged from yesterday at VND110,800/kg.

Over the past week, domestic coffee prices have fluctuated with alternating increases and decreases. However, overall for the week, prices still recorded an increase of 3,500 to 4,200 VND/kg compared to the previous week.

In Dak Nong, coffee prices increased by 4,200 VND/kg, which was also the strongest increase of the week. Next, prices in Dak Lak last week increased by 4,000 VND/kg. Gia Lai recorded an increase of 4,100 VND/kg. Lam Dong continued to be the locality with the lowest purchasing price, increasing by 3,500 VND/kg compared to last week.

The coffee market is largely influenced by weather developments in major producing countries such as Vietnam. Forecasts show that major coffee growing regions are about to receive heavy rains. Although the current rainfall is not really alarming, the market is still cautious as we have officially entered the storm season with increasingly unpredictable weather developments.

World coffee prices today

On the London exchange, the online price of Robusta coffee futures for November 2025 delivery closed last week at $4,201/ton, up 1.6% ($66/ton) from the previous week. The January 2026 futures contract increased 2.3% ($93/ton) to $4,182/ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in December 2025 increased more sharply, up to 3.7% (13.6 US cents/pound) last week, reaching 378.85 US cents/pound. The contract for delivery in March 2026 increased 3.7% (12.7 US cents/pound), to 358.9 US cents/pound.

A trader is offering Grade 2 robusta, which has a 5% black and broken bean ratio, at a premium of $160 to $175 a tonne over the January LIFFE futures price.

Another trader offered specific prices for each delivery time. The price for the November shipment was 109,000 VND/kg, while the December shipment was offered at 107,000 VND/kg.

One trader also reported that their coffee prices are now only $10 above the November contract. This is a significant reduction from last week when it was around $50. This adjustment is mainly due to the increase in London coffee prices and the strengthening of the US dollar.
