Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices today, September 3, 2025, in the Central Highlands region turned down sharply compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 120,500 - 121,500 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the old Dak Nong region are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 121,500 VND/kg, a sharp decrease of 1,200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee price in Dak Lak province is 121,300 VND/kg, down 1,200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by VND1,200/kg compared to yesterday and were traded at VND121,000/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices decreased by VND1,300/kg compared to yesterday and are at VND120,500/kg.

Domestic coffee prices are currently overbought, so a short-term price drop is entirely possible. However, overall investor sentiment remains quite optimistic about the long-term outlook.
Robusta coffee prices have risen sharply over the past month, bringing joy to those holding the commodity, but also raising concerns about a price bubble that could burst at any time.
Today’s international trading session saw a drop of hundreds of points, a sign that the market will continue to be volatile. Traders need to be extremely careful to manage risks effectively.
Although Robusta is Vietnam's main product, in the first 7 months of 2025, Arabica coffee prices were the bright spot in terms of exports. Figures from the General Department of Customs show that the volume of Arabica exported reached 59,300 tons with a value of 93.4 million USD, up 16% in volume and a sharp increase of 129% in value compared to the same period last year.
World coffee prices today
On the London exchange, the online price of Robusta coffee futures for September 2025 delivery reached $4,827/ton, down sharply by 3.48% ($174/ton) compared to yesterday. The November 2025 futures contract fell by 4.02% ($186/ton) to $4,442/ton.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery fell sharply by 4.01% (15.9 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 380.95 US cents/pound. The December 2025 futures contract fell by 4.57% (17.65 US cents/pound), reaching 368.45 US cents/pound.
Coffee prices are receiving solid support from the US decision to impose a 50% tariff on coffee imports from Brazil, which has virtually halted coffee trade between the two countries and prompted stockpiling in warehouses.
According to Reuters, the global coffee supply-demand balance in the current crop year is forecast to be in a nearly balanced state. In the 2025-2026 crop year, the market is expected to have a slight surplus of about 1.45 million bags. Brazil's coffee production in this crop year is estimated at 65 million bags. Thanks to the favorable growth cycle of the arabica variety, production is expected to increase to 70 million bags in the 2026-2027 crop year.
In Vietnam, the 2025-2026 coffee harvest, which is expected to begin in the fall, is expected to reach 31 million bags, up 10.71% from the previous crop. Based on these calculations, the group of experts believes that coffee prices traded on the New York and London exchanges are likely to decline slightly in the coming time. The expected prices at the end of the year are 330 US cents/pound and 3,500 USD/ton, respectively.
