Pig price in the Northern region

In the Northern region, today the price of live pigs increased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg, currently fluctuating from 61,000 to 64,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, in Thai Binh, traders are purchasing live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region. In Thai Nguyen, the purchase price has also increased to 63,000 VND/kg, equal to the price in Hung Yen and Hai Duong.

In contrast, Lao Cai and Ninh Binh are purchasing live pigs at 61,000 VND/kg, the lowest price in the region. Other localities recorded live pig prices at 62,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in the Central Highlands region

Today, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands remains stable compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 58,000 - 61,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, in Thanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Binh Thuan provinces, traders are purchasing live pigs at 61,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region.

In contrast, in Dak Lak, the purchase price of live pigs is only 58,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region. Other localities recorded live pig prices ranging from 59,000 to 60,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in the Southern region

Today, the price of live pigs in the South has not changed compared to yesterday, fluctuating from 59,000 to 62,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, traders in Can Tho, Ca Mau, Dong Thap and Soc Trang provinces are purchasing live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region. In contrast, in Ben Tre, the purchase price of live pigs is only 59,000 VND/kg, the lowest price in the region. Other localities recorded live pig prices ranging from 60,000 to 61,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs in the North has shown signs of recovery, with 64,000 VND/kg returning to the market this morning. According to the latest survey, the price of live pigs nationwide is currently fluctuating from 58,000 to 64,000 VND/kg.
