In the past, the improper use of antibiotics in livestock farming in Dong Nai was a serious problem. Farmers often arbitrarily used antibiotics for livestock without control, even using antibiotics for humans (such as Ampicillin) for livestock and poultry.

Some livestock farmers also abuse antibiotics to increase resistance and stimulate growth in livestock. This habit not only increases livestock farming costs but also harms livestock, consumers and affects food quality.

The inappropriate use of antibiotics can lead to many serious consequences. Excess antibiotics in food can increase the risk of antibiotic resistance in humans, causing diseases related to public health. Furthermore, the abuse of drugs also reduces the effectiveness of disease treatment in livestock and causes drug resistance, increasing the risk of epidemics.

To address this issue, the Dong Nai Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine has implemented many effective measures. Specifically, the authorities have increased control at veterinary drug stores, ensuring that the sale of antibiotics is carried out in accordance with regulations. At the same time, training courses have been organized to raise awareness among livestock farmers about the harmful effects of antibiotic abuse and how to use drugs rationally and scientifically. In addition, livestock farmers are required to sign a commitment not to use antibiotics indiscriminately and to implement effective disease prevention measures.

The efforts of the Dong Nai Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine have achieved positive results. Control and propaganda have helped reduce the improper use of antibiotics, improve the quality of livestock products and protect public health.

Although the situation has improved significantly, continued monitoring and control of antibiotic use in animal husbandry is still necessary to ensure long-term effectiveness.

In the coming time, the authorities need to continue to promote propaganda and monitoring, and at the same time encourage people to apply safe and effective farming methods, without overusing antibiotics. This not only helps protect the health of livestock but also ensures the health of consumers and the living environment.
