Pig price today, September 11, 2024: Stable in all provinces and cities. Currently, the pig market in the three regions is trading around the price of 62,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the Northern region
In this morning's trading session, the price of live pigs remained unchanged.
Hanoi currently has the highest pork price, at 67,000 VND/kg.
Ninh Binh has the lowest price in the region, at 64,000 VND/kg.
Lao Cai, Nam Dinh and Ha Nam provinces all have a live pig purchase price of 65,000 VND/kg.
Traders elsewhere are buying live pigs at VND66,000/kg.

Pig price in the Central Highlands region
In the Central and Central Highlands regions, the pig market has not fluctuated much.
The highest price of 66,000 VND/kg was recorded in Thanh Hoa.
In Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, the price of live pigs is stable at 64,000 VND/kg.
In other localities, the price of live pigs ranges from 62,000 to 63,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the Southern region
The pig market in the South remains unchanged and follows the general trend.
In Binh Duong and Ca Mau, the purchase price of live pigs is the highest in the region, at 65,000 VND/kg.
Other provinces and cities have purchase prices from 62,000 to 64,000 VND/kg.
The entire pig market is showing signs of stability with prices starting to not fluctuate much. In Hanoi alone, the pig price is higher, with a transaction price of 67,000 VND/kg.
Pig prices in other localities range from 62,000 to 66,000 VND/kg.

In the second quarter of 2024, Vietnam exported 2.57 thousand tons of meat and meat products to Hong Kong, worth 14.65 million USD, up 25% in volume and 16.6% in value over the same period last year.
