Pig price in the North

Today, September 19, 2024, the price of live pigs in the North increased slightly, up to 1,000 VND/kg, with prices ranging from 65,000 to 67,000 VND/kg.

Traders in Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Thai Nguyen and Hanoi are buying pigs at the highest price in the region, 67,000 VND/kg.

In Nam Dinh, the purchase price of live pigs after the increase is 66,000 VND/kg, equivalent to the price in Ha Nam, Yen Bai, Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang.

On the contrary, in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh, the purchase price of live pigs is the lowest, at 65,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in Central Highlands region

The price of live pigs in the region has increased slightly today, with an increase of about 1,000 VND/kg in some places. The current trading price ranges from 63,000 to 66,000 VND/kg.

In Nghe An and Thanh Hoa, the price of live pigs is 66,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region.

In Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, as well as Dak Lak, Binh Thuan, Ha Tinh, the price of live pigs is all at 64,000 VND/kg.

Quang Binh and Lam Dong also recorded similar prices, at 65,000 VND/kg.

On the contrary, in Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, and Quang Nam, the price of live pigs is the lowest in the region, at only 63,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in the Southern region

Pig prices in the Southern region increased slightly today, ranging from 63,000 to 65,000 VND/kg.

In Binh Phuoc, Vinh Long and Can Tho, the price of live pigs is currently 65,000 VND/kg, equivalent to the price in Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Thap and Ca Mau, this is the highest price in the region.

In Long An and Ben Tre, the price of live pigs is 64,000 VND/kg, equal to the price in Ho Chi Minh City and An Giang.

In Tien Giang, the price of live pigs after the increase is 63,000 VND/kg, similar to Bac Lieu, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Kien Giang and Hau Giang, this is the lowest price in the region.

Overall, the price of live pigs across the country today is still on the rise, with prices ranging from 63,000 to 67,000 VND/kg.
