Forging documents to make a passport, a woman was fined 30 million VND
(Baonghean.vn) - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Thong has just signed Decision No. 5536/QD-UBND to administratively sanction a female citizen for the act of "Forging documents and papers to obtain a passport".
The person who was fined was Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai (born in 1990, residing in Hung Trung commune, Hung Nguyen district). Ms. Hoai's behavior was discovered by the Immigration Department - Provincial Police when completing the application for a passport.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai's act of "Forging documents and papers to obtain a passport" violated the provisions of Point a, Clause 6, Article 17, Decree No. 167/2013/ND-CP dated November 12, 2013 of the Government.
For this violation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai was administratively fined 30 million VND. Because Ms. Hoai confessed honestly and sincerely repented, she was given the minimum fine compared to the prescribed framework (from 30 to 40 million VND).
