Agricultural product prices today October 2, 2025: Coffee prices increase sharply, pepper prices remain unchanged
Agricultural product prices on October 2, 2025, coffee increased sharply compared to yesterday in the range of 116,500 - 117,900 VND/kg. Pepper prices remained unchanged in the range of 145,000 - 146,000 VND/kg.
Coffee prices increased sharply both domestically and internationally.
On the London Stock Exchange, the online price of Robusta coffee futures contract for November 2025 delivery closed at $4,403/ton, up 4.83% ($203/ton) compared to yesterday. The contract for January 2026 delivery increased 4.83% ($202/ton), reaching $4,388/ton.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in December 2025 increased by 2.41% (9.05 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 383.9 US cents/pound. The contract for delivery in March 2026 increased by 2.54% (9.1 US cents/pound), reaching 368.05 US cents/pound.
Domestic coffee prices today, October 2, 2025 in the Central Highlands region, Lam Dong coffee prices increased sharply from 1,700 to 1,900 VND/kg compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 116,500 - 117,900 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the old Dak Nong region are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 117,900 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 1,900 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee price in Dak Lak province is 117,700 VND/kg, an increase of 1,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased by VND1,500/kg compared to yesterday and were traded at VND117,700/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices increased by VND1,800/kg compared to yesterday and are at VND116,500/kg.
The 2024-2025 coffee crop year ended with record high coffee prices, helping Vietnam achieve export revenue of more than 8.4 billion USD for the first time.

Pepper prices remain unchanged
According to records, pepper prices this morning in the domestic market remained unchanged at around 145,000 - 146,000 VND/kg.
In Dak Lak province, pepper price today is purchased at 146,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
In Dak Nong area (Lam Dong province), pepper price today is purchased at 146,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
In Gia Lai province, pepper price today is at 145,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
Meanwhile in Dong Nai, pepper price today is at 146,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
In Ba Ria - Vung Tau area (Ho Chi Minh City), pepper price today is at 146,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
In Binh Phuoc area (Dong Nai province), pepper price today is unchanged compared to yesterday, purchased at 146,000 VND/kg.
At the end of the latest trading session, the International Pepper Community (IPC) said that the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper was quoted at 6,979 USD/ton, unchanged from yesterday.
Prices in other leading producing countries remained generally stable. Currently, Brazilian black pepper ASTA 570 is quoted at USD 6,500/ton, while Malaysian Kuching black pepper is at USD 9,600/ton.
In Vietnam, black pepper export prices continue to fluctuate in the range of 6,600 - 6,800 USD/ton for 500 g/l and 550 g/l.
At the same time of survey, the price of Indonesian Muntok white pepper reached 9,889 USD/ton, unchanged from the previous session.
Meanwhile, the price of Malaysian ASTA white pepper remained stable at USD 13,000/ton. Similarly, the price of Vietnamese white pepper remained at around USD 9,250/ton.
