After a series of high prices, domestic pepper prices have been adjusted down for three consecutive days. Demand from the Chinese market for white pepper and peppercorns for extraction from the Indian market is quite good. Other markets such as the US and EU are also participating in buying black pepper with both long-term and spot orders.

Although pepper prices have decreased, the market is still on an upward trend thanks to the purchasing pace of important markets such as the United States and China, where the price range can increase sharply or only by about 10-15%.

According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spices Association (VPSA), in 2025, global pepper output is forecast to continue to decrease while stable consumption demand is the driving force for Vietnam's pepper exports this year.
