In the Central Highlands region, pepper price today in Dak Lak decreased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 145,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today in Gia Lai decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 144,500 VND/kg.

Pepper price today in Dak Nong decreased by 900 VND/kg compared to yesterday at 145,300 VND/kg.

In the Southeast region, pepper prices in Ba Ria - Vung Tau today are stable compared to yesterday, currently at 145,500 VND/kg. Pepper prices in Dong Nai are also unchanged compared to yesterday at 145,500 VND/kg.

Pepper prices are expected to remain stable at VND145,000 - 146,200/kg, with a slight recovery in Gia Lai and Dak Lak. Pepper prices may increase slightly in Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc thanks to increased export demand.

Vietnamese black pepper prices may continue to increase, especially for the 550 g/l grade, as demand from the US and Europe is high ahead of the new year. Malaysian pepper prices may continue to rise thanks to steady increases in recent sessions.

World pepper price today

Update on world pepper prices from the International Pepper Community (IPC), at the end of the most recent trading session, IPC listed the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper at 6,739 USD/ton (up 0.04%), and the price of Muntok white pepper at 8,911 USD/ton (up 0.04%).

The price of Brazilian ASTA 570 black pepper was at $6,275/ton. The price of Malaysian ASTA black pepper was at $8,400/ton (up 2.38%); the price of this country's ASTA white pepper was at $10,600/ton (up 1.89%).

Vietnamese black pepper prices today remain high, trading at 6,400 USD/ton for 500 g/l; 550 g/l at 6,700 USD/ton; white pepper prices at 9,600 USD/ton.
