Pepper price today September 30, 2025: Domestic pepper prices continue to move sideways, remaining stable as yesterday. Pepper prices fluctuate from 148,000 VND/kg to 150,000 VND/kg.
Pepper prices today, September 30, 2025, updated at 4:30 a.m., show that the domestic market is stable. Pepper prices purchased by traders in key areas remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, the average purchase price in key areas is 149,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, Gia Lai and Dong Nai have pepper price today at 148,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
Pepper prices in Ho Chi Minh City remained unchanged from yesterday when traders purchased pepper at 150,000 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, in Lam Dong, pepper prices on the market were purchased by traders at 149,000 VND/kg, unchanged from the previous day.
Pepper prices in Dak Lak also remained unchanged, recorded at 150,000 VND/kg.

Update on world pepper prices from the International Pepper Association (IPC) at 4:30 a.m. on September 30, 2025, the export pepper market today continues to record market quietness. Pepper prices have not changed compared to the previous day.
Specifically, the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at USD 6,945/ton. In addition, the price of Muntok white pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at USD 9,841/ton.
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,500/mt.
Malaysia’s ASTA black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,600/ton. Meanwhile, the country’s ASTA white pepper price also remained unchanged from yesterday at $13,000/ton.
Prices of all types of Vietnamese pepper remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Of which, the price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l reached 6,600 USD/ton; 550 gr/l reached 6,800 USD/ton.
In addition, Vietnam's white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at 9,250 USD/ton.
According to Customs data, as of September 15, Vietnam exported 175,818 tons of pepper, worth nearly 1.2 billion USD. The volume decreased by 8.1% but the value increased by 28.7% compared to the same period in 2024. This is the lowest volume since 2018, but the highest turnover in the same period.
The average export price of pepper from the beginning of the year to mid-September reached 6,789 USD/ton, up 40% compared to last year. The international market is willing to pay a high price for Vietnamese pepper, especially products that meet sustainable standards and are deeply processed.
Vietnam accounts for more than 40% of global pepper production, but domestic cultivation areas are shrinking due to climate change and crop conversion. Production in Brazil, Indonesia, and India is also declining due to extreme weather. Meanwhile, demand for spices in many emerging markets is increasing by 3-4% per year, creating a foundation for pepper prices to remain high.
