Pepper price today, September 29, is at 148,000 - 150,000 VND/kg. Pepper price in key production localities increased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to last week.
Domestic pepper prices
Pepper prices today in key growing areas remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Accordingly, the domestic pepper price level is from 148,000 VND/kg to 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, pepper price today in Dak Lak is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price today in Gia Lai is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 148,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price today in Lam Dong (old Dak Nong) is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, pepper price today in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is currently at 150,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dong Nai is unchanged from yesterday at 150,000 VND/kg.
In addition, today's pepper price in Dong Nai (formerly Binh Phuoc) remained unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 148,000 VND/kg.

Last week, pepper prices in key production localities increased by VND1,000/kg compared to the previous week, except for Dak Lak pepper prices which remained unchanged but remained at the highest level of VND150,000/kg.
Pepper price today September 29 in the world market
In the world market, based on quotes from export enterprises and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) updated the prices of all types of pepper traded in the international market on September 28 (local time) as follows:
Indonesia’s Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,945 per tonne. Meanwhile, Muntok white pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,841 per tonne.
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,500/mt.
Malaysia’s ASTA black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,600/ton. Meanwhile, the country’s ASTA white pepper price also remained unchanged from yesterday at $13,000/ton.
Prices of all types of Vietnamese pepper remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Of which, the price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l reached 6,600 USD/ton; 550 gr/l reached 6,800 USD/ton.
In addition, Vietnam's white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at 9,250 USD/ton.
Last week, black pepper prices in major exporting countries all decreased except for Vietnamese black pepper. According to the International Pepper Community (IPC), the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper ended last week down 1.16% (equivalent to 82 USD/ton) compared to the previous week.
Brazilian black pepper ASTA 570 price decreased by 1.51% (100 USD/ton), Malaysian black pepper ASTA price decreased by 1.04% (100 USD/ton) last week.
At the same time, Indonesian Muntok white pepper decreased by 1.16% (116 USD/ton) compared to the previous week. Malaysian ASTA white pepper price increased by 0.77% (100 USD/ton) and Vietnam last week was flat at 9,250 USD/ton.
