Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,376 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 129.8 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the gold bar price is 20.7 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
Many international experts are very cautious about the gold price movement this week. President Adrian Day Asset Management believes that the US economy is in a period of many unpredictable fluctuations, from import taxes to interest rate policies. These factors can cause the gold price to temporarily fall back to the area around 3,930 USD/ounce before having a chance to rise again.
However, Mr. Adrian Day also predicted that the downward trend, if it occurs, will not last long. According to his analysis, important factors that help gold maintain its price, such as global economic risks and currency fluctuations, still exist, so each time gold falls, it is usually short-lived and then recovers quickly.
In Vietnam, the price of gold has fluctuated strongly for 12 months. In just one year, both SJC gold bars and gold rings have continuously reached new peaks.
