At the same time, the price of gold bars was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited - SJC at 146.4 - 148.4 million VND/tael (buy - sell), a decrease of 800 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling directions compared to the beginning of last week.

World gold price today November 3, 2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:00 a.m. on November 3, Vietnam time, was 4,003.57 USD/ounce. Today's gold price decreased by 105.55 USD/ounce compared to the beginning of last week. Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,347 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 127.2 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of gold bars is 21.2 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
Last week, the domestic gold price fluctuated strongly with a price step of millions of dong following the world gold price. In the first 2 days of the week, on the morning of October 27, the price of SJC gold bars decreased by 300 thousand dong in the buying direction. On the third day, the gold price decreased even more deeply, from 3.3 to 3.8 million dong, bringing the price to the lowest level of the week at 143.1 - 145.1 million dong/tael.
By mid-week, the trend reversed as investors bought at the bottom. On October 29, the price of SJC gold bars recovered from 2 to 3 million VND/tael, to 146.1 - 148.1 million VND/tael. The market then continued to recover slightly on Thursday and Friday, increasing by about 800 thousand to 1 million VND/tael.
At the end of the week, gold prices fell slightly after the results of the US-China trade negotiations, closing at 146.4 - 148.4 million VND/tael. Overall, the price of gold bars decreased by about 800 thousand to 1.3 million VND/tael for the whole week.
Similar to gold bars, gold ring prices have similar fluctuations. On Monday, Bao Tin Minh Chau smooth round gold rings were traded at 150 - 153 million VND/tael. After the first 2 days of the week, gold ring prices dropped to the bottom of the week at 144.5 - 147.5 million VND/tael.
From Wednesday to the end of the week, gold prices increased sharply again. Although there were intermittent price reductions, the fluctuations were not much, fluctuating only from 300 - 400 thousand VND/tael and closing at 146.2 - 149.2 million VND/tael.
Most industry experts are neutral as gold prices are trading in narrow ranges and lacking any breakout signals, according to Kitco News' weekly survey.
The survey had 14 Wall Street experts participating, of which 21% predicted gold prices will increase this week, 21% predicted gold prices will decrease, and the remaining 57% said gold prices will fluctuate sideways.
Despite the cautious tone among experts, Kitco’s online survey of 282 retail investors showed overwhelming optimism. Of these, 180 (64%) expected gold prices to rise this week, while 51 (18%) predicted a fall and another 51 (18%) said prices would remain flat.
