Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, directed localities and units to unify solutions to resolve the existing problems of the Ban Ve Hydropower project.

Up to now, although it has been implemented for more than 10 years, there are still some households that have not received the initial support due to errors in names, household registration, etc. In addition, some households have not been granted enough land as prescribed, and 530 households have not been granted land use right certificates.

In addition, the biggest problem now is that 44 households in Kim Hong village have returned to Tuong Duong and 26 households in Cha Coong village have not yet returned to the resettlement area to live, receive land and receive houses. Besides, there are 3 villages Xop Chao, Phia Oi, Pieng Luong which were not included in the relocation plan, but after the reservoir water has accumulated, they have become oases and need to be relocated to new places.

Representative of Hydropower Project Management Board 2 reported on the support and relocation plan for people in three villages in the oasis area.

In the coming time, to completely resolve the resettlement issue at the Ban Ve hydropower project, Thanh Chuong district needs to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people, review the list to promptly pay support policies.

In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to the issue of production land and rice land to try to allocate enough land to the people in 2015, and try to issue all land use right certificates by the end of 2016. Coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to implement the tea planting project, paying attention to the output of the products.

Tuong Duong district needs to actively mobilize and urgently propose plans to mobilize people from Kim Hong and Cha Coong villages to return to resettlement areas. Particularly, the Hydropower Project Management Board 2 needs to speed up the construction progress of some unfinished infrastructure works. Strengthen the management of the reservoir area and prevent illegal construction... Relevant departments and branches have the responsibility to coordinate to complete the assigned tasks.

Ban Ve Hydropower Plant is a large hydropower project, started in 2004 with a total investment of 6,470 billion VND. In 2005, the project investor, Hydropower Project Management Board 2, relocated 2,910 households, 13,735 people of 31 villages, 8 communes to resettlement areas in Tuong Duong and Thanh Chuong districts.
