Director crashes car into group of police, one person hospitalized
Asked to stop for inspection because of high speed, the driver drove the Hyundai Santafe straight into the police team, sending one person to the hospital.
According to authorities, at around 9:30 p.m. on September 11, while on duty measuring alcohol concentration on Provincial Road 555, the section connecting National Highway 1A to Ky Ninh Commune (Ky Anh Town, Ha Tinh), a traffic police team of 5 people from Ky Anh District Police discovered a 5-seat car with Ha Tinh license plate driving at high speed and asked to stop for inspection.

The driver then allegedly disobeyed orders and drove straight into the traffic police team, injuring Sergeant Pham Hong Thai, who had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. The remaining people managed to jump to both sides of the road and escaped.
After the incident, Ky Anh District Police took the driver and the car to headquarters for clarification. "We are verifying the correct person and the correct behavior to handle it according to the law," said Lieutenant Colonel Le Xuan Thuy, Head of Ky Anh District Police.
According to the police, the car owner is the director of a labor export company in Ha Tinh.
