Con Cuong parish celebrates patron saint mass
(Baonghean.vn) - The mass took place in a solemn and respectful atmosphere for Saint Francis Xavier (1506 - 1552), the great missionary from Navarra - Spain.
On December 3, Con Cuong parish of Quan Lang parish, Bot Da deanery, Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong district held the Patron Saint Francis Xavier ceremony.
Attending the mass were priests from Bot Da Diocese, many parishioners inside and outside Con Cuong parish, Quan Lang parish and some neighboring parishes.

The Mass took place in a solemn and respectful atmosphere with rituals recalling the achievements and expressing respect for the contributions of Saint Francis Xavier (1506 - 1552), the great missionary from Navarra - Spain and co-founder of the Jesuit Order, celebrated by the Church on December 3 every year.

The Mass also called on and encouraged parishioners to join hands to develop their homeland and country, and to strengthen the great solidarity of all people, both religious and non-religious, in the area.
Con Cuong parish is located in Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong district, about 120 km northwest of the Bishop's Palace and was established on November 1, 2015 with about 425 parishioners; directly in charge of Father Phaolo Pham Trong Phuong, Deputy Parish Priest of Quan Lang.
