Football match to raise funds to help families in need
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 10, a volunteer group from Khanh Son commune, Nam Dan district organized a football match to raise funds and help families in difficult circumstances in the area.
The family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Them in Hamlet 10, Khanh Son Commune is facing a difficult situation. Her son, Ho Dinh Pho (born in 2016), has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and severe malnutrition and has to be hospitalized constantly.
In early June, Mr. Ho Dinh Anh (born 1990), Ms. Them's husband, also suddenly fell ill, having frequent seizures. Ms. Them had to take her child to the hospital to take care of her husband.
Before that, her husband's younger brother had also been in a traffic accident. Ms. Them's family was already poor, now it was even more miserable.

In order to share the difficulties with Ms. Them's family, the Khanh Son commune volunteer group organized a charity football match between the two football teams Khanh Son 1 and Khanh Son 2 at the commune stadium, to call on everyone to support the young family in need to have more funds for medical treatment.
The exchange received support from many local people, many kind-hearted people donated money right at the stadium. At the end of the match, the organizers raised nearly 22 million VND. This amount will be given to Ms. Them's family at the hospital.

Also on the afternoon of June 10, at Da Xing Stadium, Taichung, Taiwan, fellow countrymen from Nghe An and Vietnamese people also organized a football exchange between the two teams Changhua FC and Erlin FC to raise 10,000 NTD to help the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Them.
