The Man Utd legend confided in Sky Sports' Super 6 program about plans to build a future youth training system in Vietnam.
"Paul Scholes and I will spend three days attending the inauguration ceremony of the PVF Youth Football Training Center. After that, we will return to Vietnam two or three times a year to help them make detailed plans for building grassroots football there," said Ryan Giggs.
"Vietnam have built a brand new academy and Scholes and I will act as consultants, and look at possible links with Salford in the future. We are also building a youth academy, and the associated facilities around the world will be fantastic satellites."

Giggs played 672 times for Man Utd, scoring 114 goals. He is the player with the most titles in football history with 34 major and minor cups. In 24 years playing for Man Utd, he won the English championship 13 times and participated in 22 consecutive Premier League seasons. Giggs also holds the record for the most appearances for Man Utd.
Under the contract with PVF, Giggs is responsible for coaching players and training coaches, and participating in building and developing PVF to become the number one football training center in Vietnam.Accompanying him is former midfielder Scholes.
This weekend, the Premier League sees many interesting matches.. The earliest is the confrontation between Arsenal and Tottenham. Commenting on the London civil war, Giggs said: "Arsenal vs Tottenham games always tend to be entertaining, with lots of goals and talented players. I think it has become more and more interesting in recent years because of the balance between the two teams.Form doesn't usually dictate the outcome of derbies, but Arsenal have a better record in North London derbies. Tottenham, therefore, will have more motivation to overturn their opponents' advantage."

He added: "Tottenham are the favourites at the moment, but they need to maintain their momentum over the next few years. They have the ability to do that because they have a very young core, and if they keep the current squad, I don't see why they can't be successful.I still expect Man Utd to be Man City's main rivals for the title, with Jose Mourinho's record key. He will have Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic back, big-game players. They have the ability to make a big impact.
Tottenham are also very impressive, and I think they will fight to the end in the Premier League race, just like they did in the Champions League. This year's race could be between three teams."
About Man City's match with Leicester,Giggs commented: "Leicester are a test for Man City, who have made an impressive start under new boss Claude Puel, and I wouldn't be surprised if Pep Guardiola's side drop points at the King Power. There are always difficulties after the international break, especially when your team is away and you don't know the status of each member until a few days before the match.
If you can come back from the national team on Tuesday, the difference is huge compared to coming back on Wednesday. That's why, I think Man City will have a difficult time."

Giggs had compliments for Rashford. Photo: Sky. |
Assessing two of the Premier League's most exciting talents right now, Marcus Rashford and Gabriel Jesus, former Welsh player said:"TIt was interesting to see Marcus Rashford and Gabriel Jesus come out and face each other at Wembley, in the England v Brazil game. I think these two players always bring excitement. They are slightly different. Jesus has a better goalscoring record, but Rashford likes to challenge defenders to create something different. That makes him exciting to watch.
I have worked with Rashford and seen enough detail to realise the potential he has. He is hard-working, loyal and a real asset to Man Utd.No one wants to swap him for any other young talent at the moment. I haven't had the chance to be close to Jesus yet, but his performances on the pitch show that he is also a great talent."
