Two sisters in Nghe An drowned while playing at their grandmother's house.
(Baonghean.vn) - After returning from work in the fields and not seeing her two children, Ms. B. went looking for them and discovered them floating in her grandmother's pond.
At 6:30 p.m. on July 19, Nghia Binh Commune Health Station (Tan Ky District) received emergency treatment for two children who had drowned. After initial examination and first aid, the medical team at the station said that both children had died earlier.

The victims were Nguyen Van S (4 years old) and Nguyen Thi A (3 years old). They are the children of Nguyen Thi B. and Nguyen Van Th. (living in Hamlet 8, Nghia Binh Commune, Tan Ky).
Earlier, at around 6pm the same day, Ms. B. came home from work in the fields and went to her maternal grandparents' house to pick up her two children. Not seeing the children, Ms. B. and many people split up to look for them and discovered the two children floating in a pond about 10m from the house.
It is known that Ms. B's family is one of the poorest households in the village. The family has now brought the two children home for burial according to local customs.
