Two male students from Phan School won Gold and Silver Medals at the 2025 Asian Physics Olympiad
The 2025 Asian Physics Olympiad has just ended with impressive results: all 8/8 members of the Vietnamese team won medals, including 3 Gold medals, 3 Silver medals and 2 Bronze medals.
Good news has come toPhan Boi Chau High School for the Giftedand Nghe An Education sector when both students of class 12A3 of the school achieved excellent results in this exam. Specifically, Nguyen The Quan won the Gold Medal and Phan Quang Triet won the Silver Medal.

Notably, Nguyen The Quan is also the student with the highest score in the Vietnamese team with 32.15 points and became one of the 5 official members selected to participate in the International Physics Olympiad in 2025. According to the plan, this exam will be held at the Polytechnic University of Paris, France, from July 17 to 25.
The remaining two Gold Medals belonged to Nguyen Cong Vinh (grade 12, Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, Bac Ninh province) and Truong Duc Dung (grade 12, High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences, Hanoi National University).
The remaining two Silver Medals belonged to Ly Ba Khoi (grade 12, High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) and Tran Le Thien Nhan (grade 12, Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Thua Thien Hue province).
Two Bronze Medals were awarded to Tran Trung Hieu (grade 12, Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Thua Thien Hue province) and Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Anh (grade 12, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi city).

The 25th Asian Physics Olympiad was held from May 4 to 12 in Saudi Arabia, with the participation of 30 delegations from 29 countries and territories, bringing together 208 contestants.
Previously, in the 2024 exam, student Nguyen The Quan also won a Bronze Medal while in grade 11.
