The accident occurred at around 8:30 p.m. on February 29, at Km15, National Highway 2, Dao Duc Commune, Vi Xuyen District, Ha Giang Province.

According to some witnesses: "At the above time, a Toyota Prado car with license plate 23A - 2867 was traveling on National Highway 2 in the direction of Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang. When reaching Km15 through Dao Duc commune, it suddenly collided head-on with a Vios car with license plate 23A - 033.20 going in the opposite direction.

As a result, the accident caused 4 people in the car with license plate 23A - 033.20 to die on the spot, including 1 child.

In addition, 3 people in the Toyota Prado with license plate 23A-2867 were seriously injured and were taken to the emergency room by local people.

At the scene, two cars were severely damaged and almost completely deformed.

Immediately after receiving the report, Vi Xuyen District Police quickly arrived at the scene to regulate traffic, conduct a crime scene investigation, and clarify the cause of the incident.

Mr. Luong Van Doan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province confirmed that on the evening of February 29, in Dao Duc commune, Vi Xuyen district, a serious traffic accident occurred, causing 7 casualties.
