Two cars collided and burned, at least 12 people died
After a series of collisions, two sleeper buses and a truck caught fire, causing dozens of passengers to cry for help.

At 4am on May 22, a sleeper bus traveling from Quang Ngai to Ho Chi Minh City, when arriving at Thuan Nam town, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province, suddenly collided with a passenger bus traveling in the opposite direction. At the same time, an oncoming truck crashed into the passenger bus.
The collision caused 3 passenger buses to be damaged and catch fire.

Dozens of passengers on the bus screamed and panicked. The passengers trapped in the bus were rescued by locals who broke the windows and took them to the Ham Thuan Nam District Hospital and Binh Thuan General Hospital for emergency treatment.
By 7:30 a.m., at least 12 people were dead and dozens of injured people were being treated.
